Today, January 27, the first meeting of the Academic Council in 2026 was held at the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. It began with a minute of silence in memory of the Heroes who died in battles with the Russian aggressor.
After that, the rector of the university, Valentyna Yakubiv, and the chairman of the Academic Council, Ihor Tsependa, solemnly presented honorary diplomas to Volodymyr Rozvadovsky, Ivan Yaremiy, Omelyan Poplavsky, Volodymyr Hryza, Kateryna Koporkh, and Ivan Blahun.
Alla Boychuk, Lubomyr Malanyuk, and Olga Rusakova were also awarded certificates.
The following received thanks: Halyna Voytkiv, Iryna Vorobets, Yulia Voronych, Olga Gandera-Kalinovska, Iryna Kopystynska, Iryna Sernyak, Halyna Fedoryshyn, Oksana Tsizhmi, and Natalia Stefanyshyn.
An important moment was the presentation of associate professor certificates to Tetyana Madryha and Bohdan Paska.
Maria Lyaskovetska was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy degree in the Chemistry educational program.
We sincerely congratulate everyone on the well-deserved recognition, and wish them new professional achievements, scientific accomplishments, and further success for the benefit of the university and Ukraine.
During the meeting, the Academic Council also considered a number of issues according to the agenda.
