
On January 26, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Law in the 2025/2026 academic year was held at the Educational and Scientific Law Institute of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.
The event was organized in accordance with the orders of the Department of Education and Science of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration and current regulatory documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the aim of finding, supporting and developing the creative potential of gifted youth.
More than 75 students from grades 9–11 of secondary education institutions in the Ivano-Frankivsk region took part in the Olympiad, demonstrating thorough knowledge of law, a high level of training, analytical thinking, and the ability to apply legal norms in practice.
The organizing committee of the second stage of the Olympiad included:
Eduard Yosypovych Lapkovsky, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University;
Zinich Lyubomyr Vasylovich, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional, International and Administrative Law.
The jury of the Olympiad included scientific and pedagogical workers of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. The chairman of the jury was Yuriy Ivanovych Mykytyn – director of the institute, candidate of legal sciences, professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine. The deputy chairman of the jury was Zoryana Vasylivna Yaremak, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor, professor of the Department of Labor, Environmental and Agrarian Law.
