On February 24, a meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. Traditionally, it began with a minute of silence in memory of the Heroes who died in battles with the Russian aggressor, defending the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
During the meeting, it was also announced that Yulia Paruta was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.
After that, the rector of the university, Valentyna Yakubiv, and the chairman of the Academic Council, Ihor Tsependa, solemnly presented awards to the scientific and pedagogical staff and partners of the university.
Activists of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Students and Postgraduates of the University were separately recognized. For active public activity, significant contribution to the development of student self-government and high work results in 2025, Maryana Boyko, Andriy Koshka, Diana Ladchuk, Vladyslav Boyko, Liliya Bileychuk, Valeria Merts, Angelina Ivanyshyn, Olena Lonyuk and Yana Bezugla were awarded.
