
Today, the rector of the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Valentyna Yakubiv, held a working meeting with the director of the Institute of Law-Making and Scientific and Legal Expertise of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, corresponding member of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Oleksiy Kot.
The conversation was also attended by the Director of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute Yuriy Mykytyn and Academician-Secretary of the Civil Law Department of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Andriy Hrynyak. During the meeting, the parties discussed areas of further cooperation in the field of legal education, scientific research and scientific and expert activities and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The purpose of the memorandum is to create an effective mechanism for cooperation between the parties for the development of joint scientific research and scientific and legal expertise, the exchange of scientific experience and legal information, as well as the training and advanced training of specialists in the field of law.
The document provides, in particular, the following areas of cooperation:
– organization and holding of joint scientific research and scientific and practical events (conferences, seminars, round tables, symposiums);
– joint research in the field of lawmaking, theory and practice of law application, as well as the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European Union law;
– cooperation in the field of scientific and legal expertise of regulatory legal acts and their drafts;
– preparation of joint scientific, educational and methodological and publishing materials;
– participation in grant and educational projects;
– development and modernization of legal education in accordance with modern European standards.
The signing of the memorandum opens up new opportunities for deepening cooperation between the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University and a leading scientific institution in the field of lawmaking and legal research.
