
The Stefanyk Info Day was held at the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, which brought together more than 100 applicants – students of secondary education institutions from the communities of Manyava, Vorokhta, Yamnytsia, Uhrynov, and Trach.
The event was welcomed by the rector of the university, Valentyna Yakubiv, who congratulated the participants and wished them to make a conscious choice of their future profession. The event was moderated by the director of the Educational and Scientific Center for Professional Career and Education, Halyna Voloshchuk.
At the beginning of the program, participants joined the interactive quest “KNUVS Challenge”, which was prepared by the career center event managers Maryana Danyliuk and Iryna Vorobets.
In a dynamic team interaction format, applicants completed tasks, got acquainted with the university, and discovered various educational opportunities at the university.
The event became an open platform for future entrants to get acquainted with the educational opportunities of the university. Educational programs and features of student life were presented by the Faculty of Pedagogy, the Educational and Scientific Law Institute, and the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports.
Participants had the opportunity not only to receive information about studies, but also to take part in a series of interactive workshops, practical demonstrations, and activities that helped them better experience the atmosphere of student life and try themselves in various professional roles.
The Faculty of Pedagogy has prepared interactive educational activities for applicants, including the digital quest “Quest with a Kobzar”, the video workshop “A Primary School Teacher is…”, interactive flashcard games “Become a Teacher for 60 Seconds”, a mathematical lottery, as well as a creative workshop “Flower of Professional Choice”, which symbolizes personal development and professional self-determination.
Participants also participated in the express exercise “Emotional Radar”, discussions in the format “Social Work in 60 Seconds”, exercises “Digital Gesture”, and also had the opportunity to communicate with teachers and students of the departments. Activities for applicants were conducted by scientists Maryana Dereniuk, Taras Paska, Iryna Komar, Iryna Didukh, Oksana Voroshchuk, Halyna Lemko, Tetyana Potapchuk, Oksana Kobyletska, Olesya Dybovska, Maryana Perchyk.
The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports organized an active program for students, which included musical movement, sports relays and competitions with elements of various sports, as well as a presentation of educational programs in the specialties of physical therapy and occupational therapy. Teachers Yulia Voronych, Lyubomyr Malanyuk, Oleksandr Leschak, Lydia Kovalchuk, Anastasia Rakaeva were responsible for conducting the activities.
Representatives of the Educational and Scientific Law Institute prepared a series of practical demonstrations on forensics and legal technologies. Students had the opportunity to see the process of detecting and fixing human handprints, the basics of fingerprinting, the use of an ultraviolet emitter to check security features on money and securities, as well as get acquainted with the operation of the Face identification program and a portable metal detector. The activities were conducted by scientists Tetyana Skhab-Buchynska, Svitlana Kaduk, Mykhailo Tymchyshyn, Svyatoslav Kozych, Tetyana Skhab-Buchynska, Andriy Albu with the participation of students Emilia Ilkiv and Yulia Melnyk.
Stefanyk Info Day became another step towards forming a conscious professional choice of future entrants. In a relaxed atmosphere of live communication, participants were able to get to know the university better, ask questions to teachers and students, and feel like a part of a large university community.
Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University continues to create opportunities for open dialogue with future students and support young people in choosing their own educational trajectory.
